Customer-towed trailer requirements

For customer-towed rentals, the website requires a tow vehicle with sufficient manufacturer-rated capacity, the correct hitch setup, a functioning 7-pin connection, and a trailer brake controller. The approved material limit is 2 tons, and loads may need to be reduced if overweight or unsafe.

  • For current trailer rentals, the website says requests are not confirmed until the customer completes verification and payment through Neighbors Trailer.
  • The Trailer Rental page says concrete, dirt/soil, gravel, brick/block, roofing shingles, tile, and similarly dense materials require approval before service.
  • For Easy-Access Pickup, the website lists paint cans at +$15 each and standard propane tanks at +$30 each as add-ons to a qualifying pickup.
  • The website says tires, loose batteries, and batteries presented for disposal as separate items are not accepted; Easy-Access Pickup also excludes in-home removal and stairs.
