dumpelo City, ZIP or company
METHOD AND SOURCES · UPDATED OCT 2026

We count. We don't rate.

Dumpelo has no stars of its own and no paid placement. Every number comes from a company's own website, its reviews, a federal record or a city rule, with the source and the date beside it. Here is how each kind is collected and checked.

Which companies are listed

2,090 businesses that show up for dumpster rental across the Atlanta, Tampa and Dallas metros, collected from their public map listings in October 2026: local roll-off companies, waste haulers, junk removal companies that rent dumpsters, franchises and national haulers. Each page says which kind a business is. No company pays to appear or to rank, and the order of a city list comes from how much evidence we hold on each company, not from any deal.

Prices

We read 650 company websites in October 2026. A price is shown only when the text around it, on the company's own site, states it as that company's regular price for that dumpster size. Every mention of every figure was read in context by a language model; prices for other sizes, other services, dump trailers, discounts, deposits, financing or example figures were left out, and a sample of the verdicts was re-read by hand. 116 companies have prices we could confirm. Metro medians use each company once per size, at its lowest confirmed price for that size.

Prices that customers mention in reviews are not shown yet: our reading of them did not reach the accuracy we require, so we leave them off rather than guess.

Reviews

We count what reviews describe (on-time delivery, careful placement, quick replies) and never quote them. Every one- and two-star review with written text since October 2023, 3,194 in all, was read in full and sorted by the reason for the complaint. Shares under 20 reviews are shown as counts, not percentages.

Federal records (FMCSA)

Where we could match a company to a USDOT number, we show what the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration record holds: whether the registration is active, trucks and drivers on file, roadside inspections and out-of-service results in the last 24 months, crashes in the last 24 months, and any federal out-of-service order. Crash counts are not adjusted for fault. 196 companies matched a record. A company without a matched record is not a problem by itself; we simply have nothing federal to show.

City rules

Street permits, hauler rules, bulk pickup and drop-off sites come from each city's own web pages, read in October 2026. Each rule is checked against the page it cites, and only checked rules are shown.

Written summaries

The short summaries and paragraphs on company pages are written with AI (GPT-6-Luna) from the facts on that page and from facts found on the company's website and in its reviews, each of which was first checked against the source it came from. Every sentence is then checked claim by claim against those facts in two separate passes; a sentence that fails is rewritten once, and removed if it still fails. Nothing written is a review quote, a rating or a judgement of a company's honesty or safety.

Listings that may pass your call on

Some listings belong to brokers that pass enquiries to other haulers. We never call a listing fake. When a listing's own data shows it, we say so with the count: a phone number shared with listings under other names, a website built from the same template as other listings' sites, or bad reviews saying a different company arrived. Calling a hauler directly usually means one fewer middleman in the price.

Corrections

If something on a page is wrong, tell us and we will check it against its source. Business owners can claim their page to send updated prices or details, which are checked the same way.
