What goes in, and the rules
Not allowed · all New Bern rentalsStandard prohibited items still apply to every New Bern rental: hazardous waste, chemicals, paint and solvents, tires, batteries, motor oil, asbestos, medical waste, TVs and electronics, and large appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, and washing machines.

Ask first · concrete, brick and blockConcrete, brick and block are arranged by phone. Call A&A Waste Solutions before you book and we'll talk through your load.

Rules by material · 12-yard and 18-yard roofing loadsThe 12 yard is shingles only. Note the 18 yard holds the same 30 squares as the 12 yard on a shingles-only job, so what it actually buys you is the room for the decking, paid for in squares.

Heavy loads · shingle tear-offsROOFING Shingle Tear-Offs: What Actually Fits Shingles hit the weight limit long before they fill the box, so the size you need is set by tonnage, not by volume.

Space and access · 30-yardThe truck needs about 80 ft of clear straight space to set the container down and pick it up, 12 ft of width, and 20 ft of overhead clearance, because the truck tilts to unload.

Loading · 30-yardThe 30 yard dumpster has a rear swing door, so heavy material can be walked or wheeled straight in rather than lifted over the wall.
